The Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of Very High Frquency (VHF) radio on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio. This course is for anyone who owns a fixed or handheld marine VHF radio. There are two options available either Online or Classroom.
A radio is an important piece of safety equipment on board and it is vital to understand the correct procedures.

EXAM
Details and information for booking your VHF SRC Examination, this is class room based. The exams requires either completion of a classroom course or the new on line interactive course when you should obtain a completion certificate. We provide you with radio manuals and time to familairise yourself with the Standard Horizon GX1500e VHF which we use for the assessment.
