This weeks sees the addition of a new course. We are now offering the RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Course which is a must do course for anyone thinking of doing a long range/extended cruise.

We can offer this theory course when you want and it is vital to help with all aspects of long offshore passages. This includes heavy weather, passage planning and use of the sextant for position finding. 

30th September 2015

Due to demand for more training courses we have arranged an End of Season course from Largs departing Wednesday 30th September. If you want a refresher, more mileage, a qualifying passage or a sail training course then this is for you.

Get it done in one go! A comprehensive introduction for inexperienced skippers to cruising so as to safely navigate around familiar waters by day. Some pre-course learning required: basic navigational shapes, lights and buoyage. (About 40 hours classwork ending with 2 small exam papers.)

Following a fantastic cruise this year around some of the Distilleries we are already committing to a new cruise next year. We offer the opportunity to gain experience, training and tuition whilst undertaking passages on our West Coast distillery cruise. Departing Sunday 8th May next year we will visit some famous West Coast Distilleries. Join us for an RYA qualifying passage, for a course or to to cruise on board. The choice is yours. You may cruise from and return to Largs, Craobh Haven, Oban or  Tobermory as this cruise covers them all. Our Chief Instructor is available to help ensure you have a really enjoyable time whilst cruising the West Coast.
