CEVNI 'Code Européen des Voies de Navigation Intérieure'

This is the endorsement required to Skipper a craft on European Inland Waterways.

Would you like to obtain an endorsement to your Interntaional Certificate of Competence (ICC) confirming you passed CEVNI. We offer you the opportunity to take the online assessment and we will also provide the ICC practical assesment for you too.

You need to take an on line test following a briefing. To gauge your current level of knowledge and to aid understanding of the on line test process; you may take a practice test in advance to test yourself first.

The test is in two parts: the first signs and buoyage; the second sound signals, lights and shapes.

There are thirty questions, fifteen questions in each part and eleven must be answered correctly, in each part. These questions are random, with multiple choice answers and each question is to be completed within a short time. You will only be permitted to sit the test twice on one occasion so you must be confident.

Having completed a briefing and homework, for which we suggest:'RYA European Waterways Regulations' we can provide access to the test.

This can be taken either On Line or at our Centre. To test yourself in advance please visit the CEVNI On Line Practice Test.

If you pass the test 'Well Done' a certificate will be e mailed to you in pdf format. Print off and send this with your ICC to RYA to obtain your endorsement CEVNI.
